Expanding shafts with axial displacement

Expanding shafts with axial displacement for web adjustment

This type of shafts features manual systems for axial adjustment of the web. This system can be applied to both double-supported shafts and cantilever shafts.

Axial Adjustment Systems for Expanding Shafts:

1

Axial Non-Stop

Allows stopping the knob via a mechanism for manual displacement. This system is ideal for high-production machinery as it enables axial adjustment of the web without stopping the machine.

2

Simple Axial

Allows axial displacement; however, the knob cannot be detached from the shaft’s rotation, making it necessary to stop the machine for safe adjustment.

STANDARD DIAMETERS

For core Ø70 mm (ID 70mm)
Expansion range: Ø69–71 mm
For core Ø76 mm (ID 3')
Expansion range: Ø74–76 mm
For core Ø152 mm (ID 6')
Expansion range: Ø148–157 mm

Custom dimensions available: Special manufacturing from Ø25 mm to Ø300 mm.

HIGH-STRENGTH SHAFTS WITH REDUCED WEIGHT

This table shows the basic data for expansion ranges, gripping coefficients, and weights of the different types of shafts.

These parameters can be enhanced with custom designs, always available from our engineering team.
